Objectives of the seminar: To provide participants with information on theoretical and practical aspects of the relationship between nutrition, genetics and mental health. To encourage the development of skills and competencies related to how dietary choices can influence the expression of genes.

The talk explores how dietary choices can influence the expression of genes, ultimately shaping an individual’s physical and mental health outcomes. You will learn about the complex relationship between nutrients, gut health, and the brain. The talk also emphasizes the long-term implications of these epigenetic changes across generations, shedding light on the highlighting the importance of a balanced approach to nutrition for optimal health and well-being.

Finally, we will discuss the effect of diets and restrictions on overall well-being and how to eat for better mental health.
